The nicest part of this hotel was the lobby and location other wise mid. The elevators were limited and slow. The AC in our room was outdated and did not cool. We got in late and the next morning a housekeeper knocked on our door at 9am and when we told her we did not need her services she insisted on us opening the door to give us towels. We had enough towels. We put the do not disturb door plaque and did not use housekeeping services for the rest of our stay. The sheet and the shower curtain had weird stains. I think there are nicer places to stay in this area for similar price. Would not stay here again or recommend.

The location was perfect. We were traveling with 2 adults and 2 kids so the room was kind of cramped, but the amazing rooftop deck made it worth it. If it were just the 2 of us it would have been excellent size. The staff were so friendly. Sandra was a gem when it came to checking us in and there was a maintenance guy who we didn’t get his name, but he was so nice and made sure he set up the sofa bed to be extra comfy for my nephew. He would greet the boys with high fives and that made them feel special. Because of the staff we would definitely stay here again in the future.

"The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious, and the hotel is right beside Lake Kivu. The chef even prepared food based on some dietary issues I had. In brief, I could not ask for a better stay. Kudos to all the kind and hardworking people working at this hotel"

"Service was impecable and the place nothing short of amazing. My hiking boots broke, they noticed and Sam offered to fixed them and they were line new. Oscar at the bar is a class act."

"They placed me in a room that reeked of mold and mosquito chemicals. When I requested a different room, the staff sprayed deodorant in the one next to mine—I could hear it clearly.
