"A very nice hotel located within easy walking distance of many theatres and other central London attractions. Deluxe double room was small, but well appointed and well designed. The interior room has a view into the enclosed courtyard. Staff were friendly if not slightly disorganised. Floor 6 interior room was quite noisy from the loud music in the bar above until midnight at the weekend. Check in was after 15:00, but the room wasn’t ready until 16:00. Overall we would recommend this...

"I have stopped at this hotel many times and always rated it as excellent. On this occasion we spent 15mins in the bar waiting for someone to serve us and decided to leave. Let’s hope this is a one-off and not a slide towards customer neglect. The hotel does have a 5% service charge for drinks if you can get one. "

"The decor is very modern and appealing. Most front desk staff members were friendly and helpful. The two security people outside the bar were aloof and standoffish. The rooms were comfortable for the most part except for the extra high tubs that were extremely difficult and dangerous to navigate. The replenishing of water bottles was appreciated."

"We had a short but amazing stay at St James. Every employee was so kind, friendly, super helpful and on top of their game. The only downside of the hotel was that it’s very small. The rooftop bar view was amazing but again a very small space. Either way I would stay here again bc of the convenience of the hotel’s location! I do think they’re under construction in the lobby area so maybe it’s going to be bigger eventually. "
