"This is the second time I have stayed at The Strand Palace Hotel. I am a lone traveller and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The room is very clean and the facilities in the room have been well thought out. The choices at breakfast are excellent. I will definitely be staying again and would highly recommend."

"The room we stayed in had clearly just been renovated, and that was appreciated. Our beds were comfortable and we were allowed to check in a few hours early for a small fee. Our room was small but about average for that area (and price point) in London. Only complaint--I'm not sure if the walls in the hotel are paper thin, or many other guests were inconsiderate, or the hotel needs to update the hinges on all doors but we constantly heard doors slamming at all hours. It was a little hard to fall asleep because of that. Aside from that minor complaint, our one night stay here was fine. Would recommend to fellow travelers."

"Hotel is in a great location and it’s really handy to be able to leave your luggage - at a small cost. Our room was small so for two people it was difficult to move around each other. However it was ok for a couple of nights with two small cases only. We were also in a basement room so could feel the tube going passed."

"Our room with four double beds worked for four of us for one night. It was clean but the air con didn't work properly. The shower was excellent. Would consider staying again with a group of friends."
