"Really recommend stopping here for a night when doing the journey through the fjords. It was lovely to stop in a small village and visit the Viking Village as well.
The room we had was amazing, it was Viking themed and had a window to look at the stars (weather dependant!). The bed was extremely comfortable as well.
We had dinner in the restraurant as well which was good value and lovely food and a nice fireplace for drinks after dinner.
The only let down was breakfast as we went a bit later in the allocated time and there was very little choice, so recommend going earlier in the allocated time for breakfast.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend ."
"Lovely old hotel with lots of history which was beautiful to stay in. We had a loft room with a lovely bay window to look out across the town as the snow came down.
The bed was wonderfully comfortable.
The only area that could do with some love was the bathroom which felt a bit tired.
Breakfast had lots of variety, including some traditional Norweigian options.
Overall a lovely place to stay and I would recommend, it was also great to slow down on the journey from Oslo to Bergen and spend time in Flam "
"The Heimly staff was friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Our room had gorgeous views of the fjords. Breakfast was excellent, and the three-course vegetarian dinner that the chef prepared for us was the best meal we had on our trip to the Scandinavian countries.

"Undeniably a gorgeous location! Communication was a problem but only at 1st. The Expedia message did not work. You have to use WhatsApp to contact them about the door code. Parking is scary if other cars are there. It's a tight squeeze to go anywhere in Undredal though. It's a one-way road, in and out. I will never forget that view though! It was definitely worth the sketchy drive!"
