The Capital Hotel

Considered "the front porch of Little Rock", the Capital Hotel has been a beacon to Southern culture since it first opened its doors in 1870. Originally famous for having the first electric light fixture in a Southern hotel and for its elevator large enough to fit a horse, the Capital has constantly reinvented itself over the last 140 years to always represent the best of the South for each time. The Capital offers two dining options – Ashley's and The Capital Bar and Grill – both drawing upon the region's finest ingredients and flavors.
