"Pros: The room had great AC (and the main lobby was quite cool at all times). The room with a view of the ocean was beautiful! There were hundreds of places to walk to for food and shopping and only a few minutes walk to the beach! We did not pay for breakfast, so I can't review that. But there were lots of places to sit which was great. Cons: You have to walk 2 floors of steps up to the lobby to get to the elevator. My wife had a sprained knee and walking 2 floors up of stairs to the lobby was very uncomfortable. (And with rolling luggage was difficult)"

"A spectacular looking hotel conveniently located just off the main drag in Ao Nang. They were close to finishing the cleaning of all the turquoise tiled roofs of the buildings in their complex and this along with the villas climbing up the hillside towards the rooftop pool with its magnificent views of the surrounding cliffs and beach, made this a picture perfect Instagram friendly resort to stay in. My room was big with a nice balcony overlooking the small and lower pool, and midway between the lower reception area and the rooftop pool. If you are not physically fit or don’t like walking up and down slopes/stairs this might not be the ideal location for you, but they brilliantly provide a golf cart service from the Reception area (or you can call them from your room) to move you around the resort if you need it (or if you’re a little bit wobbly after having a fun night out!) The resort is a few minutes walk from the beach and it’s countless restaurants and bars with a small little “beer bar complex” called RCA just up the road if that’s more your thing. Hotel staff were very friendly and the tour operator in Reception was very helpful and I would recommend haggling on any price you agree there because there is always money to be saved with them. I went on a “4 island” day trip which was scenic but felt rushed and overly organised. I was recommended to take the Hong Island day trip as it is very relaxing and unrushed, so this will be on the list for my next visit. "

"My stay at Blue Sotel was AMAZING! I LOVED the location, it was walking distance from the beach and resided in a long strand of hotels, restaurants, bars, and spas. The views are great if you're lucky enough to get a mountain view. I initially checked in for 2 days and decided to extend my stay based off of my initial experience. I was a little underwhelmed with the new room I was checked into (there was bad caulking in the bathroom around the sink and shower that appeared to be black but, after sharing my health concern, they were kind enough to move me. The breakfast was really good too! This was the second hotel I stayed at in Krabi and I would totally book again. "

"I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The private access to the beach was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to Monkey Trail (my favorite) and tons of good eating spots and shopping. "
