"Stayed 5 nights in the deluxe ocean suite. Amazing room with a great view. Service was amazing from start to finish. Biggest disappointment was the beach. The beach gets very shallow in the afternoon and there are lots of rocks which make it unsuitable for swimming. Also marine activities are sometimes not available and a bit pricier than other places. Outdoor pool area is nice but you have to pay extra for the cabanas. Overall great place for a relaxing vacation but if you're someone who...

"Beautiful Onsen facilities. Very special muddy salty 40 - 44 degree C baths. This is a very Japanese hotel. We liked the Japanese room. It was large, with a nice view looking down towards a village and the Pacific. For an American, this was a very unusual hotel, very nice. One and only one downside is this place is a bit difficult to get to or get from. Taxi is pretty much the only option, and this place is a bit "out there" so we rang up a lot of taxi fares. "Overall bad experience, three-star hotel at most. The hotel is old, facilities not quite clean. Our pillows have a dirty feet smell, very unpleasant. Even after we asked them to change the pillows, the next day, there is another dirty feet smell pillow!!! Food is not good either. The only ok restaurant is the Four Season one and the Japanese restaurant. But not all restaurants open all the time. Staff is not as friendly to foreigners as to Japanese . Limited English speaking staff"
