Lovely hosts. Great breakfasts! Room was a little warm, but we were able to open the window. No t.v. in the room itself, but we weren't there to watch t.v. Would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I were in Niagra-On-The-Lake for our honeymoon and loved our stay with James and Sandy! Our room was a great size and very comfortable. The breakfasts were so well done and extremely filling and the hosts were so friendly and informative. Our only critiques were that the bed was quite soft (for our liking) and that the room could have used a fan to move some air. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we will be recommending it to our friends and family!

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay here! Sandy and James were friendly and helpful and provided delicious, filling meals. The room was comfortable, clean and cozy and felt like home, rather than a sterile hotel room. They were located in a quiet residential area with an easy walk to the downtown area and were easily available when we needed anything. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The hosts were helpful and cooked delicious breakfasts for us. We had great conversations and were even able to borrow some tools to fix up our trailer. Very convenient location close to the main street in town, and all its attractions - walking distance with ample parking. Comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom and fireplace in the room for extra romance. Highly recommend!

Great location for NOTL

Hosts are very friendly and provide lots of tips for getting the most out of your stay in NOTL. There is a wonderful deck overlooking a beautiful perennial garden, which is perfect for wine tasting. Wasn't enthusiastic about breakfast, two mornings did not have any protein, just carbs. The temperature of the house was too warm for comfort, it was over 85 degrees and we had to buy a fan to sleep at night.

Breakfast was good. House was nice big deck on the back very nice. Close to town just a 4 block walk was perfect distance. Reasonably lit streets with sidewalk. Town and bike tour of wineries was great. James setup the perfect tour with free tastings.

The Platinum standard of B&B's

Sandi and James gave us a very warm welcome followed by a friendly, and fully informative explanation that made us feel completely at home. A very comfortable room, complete with fully equipped ensuite, provided for a complete rest. We will return as equally as we would highly recommend this B&B.

Home away from home

We had a wonderful stay with Sandra and Jim at the Downhome. They were extremely hospitable, giving us many tips to do around there on the lake. We will be back soon .
