Great experience

Quick 1 night stay. Good check in experience, all round pleasant experience staying here. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, clean bathroom/toilet facilities. The free breakfast in the kitchen in the mornings was also a great little bonus. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Was a nice friendly hostel. Slightly aged facilities but in good working order. Hot water and shower pressure was good. Individual plug points and light for each bed. Better sound proofing between rooms and walkway would be nice. But overall a good hostel.

Well equipped gem

Well equipped including tin openers. Beds comfortable and didn't creak, although single pillow is very thin. Power at bed side worked. Slightly more floor space for luggage would have been easier. Free bag storage. Very friendly staff. Clean everywhere including corners. Guests friendly, quiet and respectful. Would stay again.

Lovely quirky, comfortable stay

Was a bit unsure of what to expect as a 50yo but this place was fantastic & I didn’t feel out of place whatsoever. The staff are super friendly & helpful. Our room was really comfy (designed with neurodiversity in mind). I think my bed was actually a hospital type bed but it was sooo comfy & I could change mattress settings etc. The room was also voice activated too which was quirky. You can use the communal kitchen too to make yourself drinks and prepare food etc. They provide tea and coffee and odd bits to help yourself to but bring your own milk. I really would recommend this hostel. I also liked the fact that monies from guests goes back in to the project. Hostel is situated close to centre and near Victorian quarter so easy to walk in to central Leeds and First Direct arena to.

One nighter for a gig

One night stay for a gig in Leeds, the lady on reception was the most welcoming of any staff I’ve ever come across in properties I’ve stayed at . The place was nice and quiet and well presented. It done exactly what was required, the only negative I would say was that the room was very cold and the heater only stopped on for a short period of time but that also could have been myself not knowing how to work it correctly. Otherwise it was a great price and a great location for wandering to the arena with plenty pubs/bars along the route. I would happily stay again.
