The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. "Often need a clean basic stop in Khao Lak for diving. This place felt very run down. The shower was a mere trickle - couldn’t even wash off sand. Tiles worn and dirty. Nothing horrid but nothing special... and others offer much better value. "
