In a holiday full of excellent hotels this one felt like a standout stay - a cute little building not far from the station (and, more importantly, the fish market, with genuinely lovely staff and excellent amenities. We arrived quite early, too early to check in, and were given a drink and told about the hotel before leaving our bags to explore. The room was delightful, a good size, a well stocked fridge of complementary drinks, a unit to dry clothes as part of the shower and a comfortable bed....

Amazing stay - couldn’t recommend more. The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful, the hotel is set in a beautiful location and the entire experience is flawless. The food is excellent as well, although it’s worth noting that both the dinner and breakfast are very generous meals - best not to eat too much beforehand! A fabulous, quaint, traditional property in a superb location. The free hot bathing room privately available, was very enjoyable too. The proprietor was very attentive and helpful and you can tell he's rightly very proud to be Japanese. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say is we found the mattresses uncomfortable. That may be just our bodies, but we struggled.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Rooms were large, staff were super friendly. We got off the Shinkansen and it was about 2 mins walk to the hotel which was brilliant. Lovely roof top bar, didn’t have the breakfast.

This hotel is great! We had the suit room 1309 on top floor. Very spacious for family of 4. To get an additional room was very cheap but we preferred to stay together. Breakfast had good options from trad Japanese to pizza made fresh in huge pizza oven. Hotel was super clean and nothing was worn or damaged. Let down is no gym or lounge facilities. We would definitely stay here again no doubt

A beautiful hotel tucked away in Kanazawa - just a short walk from the station, and towards key sites to visit. Clean and traditional style rooms, very comfortable. Staff friendly and courteous. Will definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic. Loved the room and the onsen was everything I needed. Lots of amenities and freebies which really surprised me. A nice little getaway while still being central to Kanazawas tourist spots.

Amazing location for Shirakawa Go but away from the crowds up in the mountains the staff are great, food amazing, rooms basic but spotless. The onsen are great and the free guided walk was perfect. The shuttle bus to Shirakawa Go is brilliant, we were able to choose our drop off and pick up times.

We arrived in Kanazawa in a thunder, lightening and hail storm and were confined to the hotel for the evening. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and we had a thoroughly relaxed and pleasant evening in a beautiful room. The service was excellent and the facilities were good. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
