Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Those with common-sense will know that such high ratings are pure fiction. This is only recently a "Best Western" and in brand name only, so don't be misled. It is an absolute dump. The room was swarming with cockroaches, there were holes all around the window, bringing in further migrating cockroaches from outside and the neighbouring room, as there was a partition door (I had to stuff tissue all around the seams). Further to the latter, the entire corridor of blue collar workers who were housed in this hotel for some weeks would smoke in the non-smoking rooms, yet nothing was done, and my room consequently stank. Said individuals would also drink alcohol and roam around the corridor shirtless to their colleagues rooms who keot their doors open with the TV on so that the hotel sometimes resembled a prison with cells and inmates, sometimes banging on "the fireigners door" (me) for fun. The staff did nothing, and aside from myself, I saw less than a dozen real guests in the two weeks I stayed. The managment is a joke. They're utterly useless and incompetent schemers who do absolutely nothing. The lobby will be visibly messy and dirty with several staff there at all times doing....once again absolutely nothing. The room cleaning is whenever they decide. They even banged on my door at 09:00am on a Saturday morning so they presumably could leave work early. The breakfast food, notably the meat was the same meat reheated over 1 week and resalted, re-sauced and redecorated. Bad!
