"The overall experience was great. The staff is friendly and responsive. I particularly liked the food served at Aqua, which is why I was disappointed at the food quality from Carnivorous. The food was served luke warm at best and the meats did not meet the standards one would expect from a reservations only establishment. "This was an amazing boutique property with pleasant and very helpful staff. With all that said, the only negative is the immediate area/neighborhood outside of the gate. "We enjoyed our stay at the Le Mersenne and loved the detail and design of the room. Well appointed. The service was great, location is close to Paje Beach and the Treehouse Restaurant but also far from Stone Town and other popular beaches so plan to either book a driver or rent a car.
