"We loved staying at the Occidental Ljubljana. The rooms were spotless and the location is excellent - steps away from old town. However, one caution is that the bathroom is not a traditional layout. The sink is fully open and visible to anyone in the room (no walls at all) and the shower and toilet are in separate stalls. If you prefer to change in the bathroom or use the sink in private, it is a bit difficult in this bathroom layout. But other than that, it is an excellent hotel."

Despite the size of the hotel and amount of guests at breakfast it was surprisingly quiet at night! It’s slightly outside of the centre but we enjoyed the walk & got Uber back ! Breakfast was a great selection too ! Will definitely be back!!"

"We were not impressed with this hotel. I don’t even know where to begin… Firstly, the breakfast was poor. I suppose we are used to a higher standard of food, but it was definitely not of a decent level. Our room was disappointing. Park view actually means a car park view. Cons - The carpeting smelled like wet socks and the room had to be aired whenever we stepped in. "Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Piran."

"Parking is expensive and there is not even space to park. Spa has entry fee, you cannot excess anything without paying 25 euro per person. Also in the morning around 8 the staff entered our room without knocking the door. For the price I feel let down."

"The hotel is quite hard to find on Google Maps. It's not as it showed on the Google map. So, we have to park and walk to find the hotel. The heater was not working as the hotel is quite old.
