What a wonderful surprise we got when we first saw our rooms at Daddy's Home Guest house. Tom, the owner could not do enough for us. We stayed for 8 nights and were provided with enough bottled water, soap, shampoo, lovely smelling towels and bedding for the whole time. Tom even provided packs of Nescafé coffee with creamer and sugar. There is also a hairdryer supplied.

I found it a great place. Up on 102, away from noise, 5 mins to 94, good rooms, pool, nice atmosphere, nice staff, it was great for me and I'll be back.

We stopped for one night on our way to Phuket, we were well looked after by the owner, fed and watered on site as it’s away from local amenities. Enjoyed our stay, highly recommended.

This is a really lovely place to stay. The bungalow was excellent, as was the pool. The lady on reception, On, was so helpful - she even took us to the van station when we left. We would definitely recommend the hotel. It is a 30 minute walk to the main town beach area, so we hired bicycles, scooters would have been even more use for exploring. Ao Manao beach is fabulous.

Palm Beach Resort is a great family size resort. Situated on the quiet beach road 10 minutes walk from incredibly cheap local seafood restaurants. Particularly liked O.X. restaurant on a pier over the sea. Local fishing harbour on the nearby Pranburi river ensure that all seafood is freshly caught. This was the best hotel we have stayed in. It was luxurious. It has a lovely stretch of beach which gets cleaned every day. The staff are very polite and friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant is the best and reasonable price. The Italian is expensive and has a very limited menu. The breakfast is amazing but too expensive £25 each for buffet which is unacceptable. The pool is brilliant and you can go on a long treck in the pool to a waterfall. Chairs are easily available with wonderful views...

Loved my stay at The Standard. Beautifully designed and staff were all so helpful and friendly. Food was also great. I’d make 2 changes. An adult only pool (quite a few kids in the main pool and they tended to take over at times) and a bigger breakfast area. I’d still come back!

My family had a 3D2N perfect stay at the hotel. I had high expectation for the hotel before arrival and the place didn’t disappoint me a bit. The property is very beautiful, both inside the villa and the outside garden, not to mention its interesting history. The first thing you notice when checking in is the courteousness and professionalism of the staff. That wonderful attitude envelopes your entire stay. From the kitchen staff to the pool and beach staff, to the hospitality staff and even the security staff are all pleasant and helpful. Everything with a smile and a Wei. We spent five nights in one of the Silksand rooms and thoroughly enjoyed it. The swimming pools are immaculate and it's nice to have the option of a beachfront pool or larger pool near the rooms as well as the smaller shaded jetted pool. The spa was excellent as were all of the staff at the resort. They couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. A little secret garden and hideaway on the beach. Incredibly well designed, feels uber exclusive, staff super helpful, almost too helpful. 😂. Room amazing and quirky. Your own roof terrace with jacuzzi and day bed, pretty cool stuff and normally you’d be remortgaging your house to pay for this level of luxury. I don’t even want to write this review as I wanted to keep it a secret but hey, felt like I owed them a favour for such a lovely time. Big resorts are fine, but noisy and annoying for me.

very quiet hotel... amazingly big rooms / villa. Internet is soso.. amenities are soso not much in breakfast and dining as they do not have enough guests beach is super great swim pool is excelent

Just what we wanted quiet, peaceful, good food and pleasant staff .

It is one of the good choice resorts.
