The water at caliente has higher mineral content and greater degrees of temperature than Santa Fe but the relative quiet nature of guests supersedes water temp / minerals. "I have stayed here about 6 times now. Albuquerque is my halfway point on my 2-day drive. I have stayed at a Best Western, and a Hilton property before and was left unhappy with them. I have also stayed at the Laquenta and Days Inn on the West side of town, but that area has just gotten way too shady. Since it's just one overnight each trip each way I just want a budget hotel and the Querque Hotel is priced accordingly. But It is much nicer than any of the other budget hotels I've stayed at in...

"If you are a light sleeper, I would not stay here. There are cars and motorcycles that rev their engines about every hour. I sleep soundly and it didn't bother me, but I could see how it might bother others. There are also some homeless roaming around but none were aggressive. Other than that, my stay was great. "This was a beautiful hotel, and it’s one of those hotels that has everything! My only complaint, is that we didn’t get to stay here longer. Been flying around the country time building for my license, and this is a great place and ideal for everything including pilots! The restaurant and pool area were my favorite! I will be coming back!
