Matava - Fiji...Untouched
3.5 star property
Kadavu Island
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (22 reviews)
"This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in - avoid it like the plague. The roof in my room leaked resulting in a pool of water on the floor whenever it rained. The windows did not fit properly and did not close, which together with the gaps between the tops of the walls and the roof resulted in constant wind noise and drafts. I have never seen such a shoddily built room. There is nothing authentic about it. I stayed in four other hotels during this trip to Fiji, all of which were considerably...

"Lovely resort...wonderful 5 night stay. Staff are absolutely delightful and are definitely a highlight of our stay. We had to move bures after our first night as there was water leaking in the bathroom. Rooms are really comfortable..no need for air-conditioning at this time of the year...breeze through the screened louvres and fan was perfect for sleeping. Really loved having the outdoor shower."

Tokatoka Resort Hotel

Tokatoka Resort Hotel

8/10 Good
"We arrived before check-in time. Our Villa wasn't ready yet, but we were allowed to use the pool, which was very much appreciated as it was a beautiful sunny day. The Villa was clean and had all the amenities (fridge, coffee, tea, sugar, kettle etc) needed for a relaxing stay. The gardens looked amazing and we enjoyed a couple of swims in the nice pool. Dinner at the restaurant was very delicious. We loved the location so close to the airport, which meant we were able to walk from the hotel to the airport. Surprisingly there wasn't much noise from the planes. We would definitely stay at Tokatoka resort again."
