"Breakfast- hash brown pre cooked and rubbery, mushrooms cold, bacon fatty, eggs tasted funny. £17 partner had cereal tea and orange juice £11. Told we could not have a latte or cappuccino as bar did not open until 10am. Cancelled our breakfasts for remainder of stay and went out to eat at Boscastle farm shop excellent. "Lovely hotel my only criticism is the floors are very creaky in the bedrooms so you can hear anyone walking around day or night about you , we didn’t sleep well as the people above insisted on walk around constantly until 3 am , god only knows what they were doing. Left the family very tired the next day ( not good ) !"

"This was easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very surprised that Expedia retain it. Nothing like photos. My original room was  so bad, I was given a better one after a couple of days, but still the taps and tv didn't work properly. Various patched up fittings. Windows in very bad state. Rooms not made up each day as it was not their policy. Waste bins not emptied. Had to ask for clean bedding but not provided. Bedding in corridoors. Lifts dont work. Smelly. Patched up fittings. "A lovely weekend stay at the Atlantic - fab location for Fistral beach and Newquay town. Free parking is a big bonus. Very clean room and balcony view was great. Staff were super friendly and breakfast selection was excellent. Property is a little dated but so well kept - only negative was that the balcony could have benefitted from a wipe down. Would definitely stay again!"

"Booked a standard double a couple of months before our stay. Couldn't book a parking space in advance as all taken. Only a small car park at the front. We used JustPark spaces on Asda carpark nearby & had no issues. Had a lovely room with alot of space for luggage to be left out.
