"The room and the food were both good but the biggest is just that about no one speaks English there (I met just one who did.
Of all the people, all were Asian except me.
The hotel is huge and difficult to navigate
Posting more directional signals would be a big benefit.

"I really wanted to love the hotel as much as I liked other Alila properties but it was a disaster. I understand that some people may have a good experience there but mine was a disaster. The mountains around are nice but the room was so filthy, it was just unbelievable. It is basically a resort one hour from Anji with nothing around so you are trapped there. being trapped in a nice place is fine for a few days but they rooms are ugly and disgusting, they are all smoking (despite what this...

"Vi bodde en natt för att fira vår årsdag. Det var jättehärligt och läget är fint vid sjön. Vi gick längs med sjön också som var jättefin. Bodde väldigt bra med egen pool och egen hottub. Restaurangen var dyr och inte riktigt värt även om maten var okej. Hotellet har också ett privat strandområde som vi inte nyttjade men som jag tror att barnfamiljer kan tycka om. "

"the laundry area is busy but we managed to use it before we leave. although we got few hiccups using it as we need to translate it, second there are other guest who use it and not comeback for a whole night. we had to call the front desk to help us because they been drying two pair of underwear for 2 hours. we have no choice but to remove it as we have no place to put our wet clothes as there other guests who need to use the washer. (dryer and washer are free, they also provide a liquid detergent which smells good) on the same floor, they also have gym and a massage room. I wasn't able to try it as I got lazy but wish I try the massage.
for the room, it's very spacious. more than enough for us. we have a lot of space to put our 4, 23kg luggage. though there are some night that it's very hot and we cannot change the temperature as it is centralized for the whole hotel. thank God we can open the window to get some air, and it can easily cool down the room as we went there around february.
the place also near restaurants that are open late so if you got hungry you can just go outside and eat. It's also few steps away from 7/11 and a bank where you can withdraw chinese yen even though you are using USA bank card.
It's also walkable to a mall, where we ha a good strawberry matcha and hotpot! (yum!)
I also did my shopping spree around the area and they're all very cheap. did not have a big problem staying in the hotel, it's just the wifi sucks, had to use my mobile data. :)"
"almost none of the pictures are accurate ; It’s is not one minute away from nanjing rd; it’s about 20 minutes driving. Jade Temple is the only one close (about 5 blocks from it. At the beginning they gave a room with a restroom and shower in a transparent box! You can see through! I had to ask for different room and they tried to charge me for that; finally I didn’t ….be sure you download didi app for taxis it’s a complicated area to ride a taxi."
