"The hotel is in a great location for exploring Ponta Delgada. We were very comfortable in our room with the added luxury of a small terrace with climbing vines for reading and sitting in the sun. The breakfast was wonderful which included many options, all delicious. The restaurant and cafe were great also. "This hotel is well maintained. The stuff is friendly and helpful. Garage is extra EUR10/day but it is worth it. The indoor pool is open until 10, which is very convenient. The bar has a good selection of lose teas that are served in special teapots. There are a lot of common areas with comfortable furniture. Location is also very convenient. The center of the town is walking distance form the hotel."

"Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, man kommt zu Fuß schnell ins Zentrum und an den Hafen. Man kann auch von seinem Zimmer oder vom Pool aus, Flugzeuge beobachten, da der Flughafen ganz in der Nähe ist. Daher kommt es auch phasenweise zu ein wenig Fluglärm. Das Zimmer war sehr groß gewesen und das Bett wirklich sehr bequem. Es gibt leider kaum Aufhängemöglichkeiten von Handtüchern, aber ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr schön. Der Poolbereich war auch sehr gut gestaltet, allerdings war es sehr schade,...

"Cet hôtel est un petit bijou! Un endroit serein, paisible le avec un personnel attentionné. Les installations sont superbe surtout le bain chaud dans la serre d’ananas. Je recommence fortement le drain lymphatique, un moment de pur détente et de bien-être. L’emplacement est idéal, très proche de la ville et en même temps très reposant au milieu de ce beau jardin!!."

The leather in the armchairs is splitting and needs replacing, and the chairs in the bar are dirty at the top where people handle them. In my room there was a lot of scuffing to the furniture and the fridge needed a good clean in the trays on the door. I reported a curtain partially off it's rail three times and it wasn't fixed.
