"Lovely hotel with a beautiful outlook over the river Kwai. Super friendly staff and a really pleasant comfortable room. Location was perfect, near to the famous bridge and an easy walk into town but far enough out to feel tranquil and peaceful. So why not a 5/5 and a 4.5? Two things. Firstly, it felt like they didn’t have enough staff on in the restaurant and the outside bar was always closed. When it hit happy hour you had to go searching for staff in the restaurant to get a drink. We ate in the restaurant 3 times. Twice it was very good, once was very poor and again came down to too few staff to cope with demand. Secondly, the pool is just way too small for the amount of people wanting to use it. It’s always rammed and very noisy especially in the late afternoon. We ended up only using it once which was a real shame. So much to love here but it’s not quite a 5/5."

"Very clean. Great air conditioner. Nice big smart TV. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very quiet, thick solid walls. Free snacks, coffee and water in lobby.staff very friendly and nice. Very good service. It’s my new favorite place to stay in the area"
