A Cozy Visit on a Chilly Weekend

My husband and I had a lovely stay in the charming and cozy 1868 Crosby House BnB. Our hostess was not only friendly and helpful, but she prepared a fabulous breakfast each morning of our stay. We also enjoyed getting to know her granddaughter who served our breakfast. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful experience at 1868 Crosby House. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the service (including breakfast) was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The area was beautiful and the scenery was perfect. Cannot say enough about the staff and the hospitality. Wonderful experience and great food.

It is a very old building with rooms decorated with plastic plants and uncomfortable beds. The breakfast was good though.

It was my fourth time at Crosby: very special place: Vermont in its best. Great location, cozy, charming, clean and stylish. Staff will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Exquisite breakfast!! You will not regret staying there

Friendly welcome! Comfortable stay with all the details attended to . Delicious breakfast and wonderful location. Went for a relaxing weekend and it was perfect. Gardens and outside seating are perfect!

Perfect bed and breakfast near ski areas.

Crosby House is a very clean and comfortable bed and breakfast that is close to Mount Snow and Okemo. You are served a deliciously decorative breakfast each morning. This was our second time staying and we will make sure to return for our next ski weekend.

Lovely, elegant home. Warm hospitality, delicious breakfasts and close to downtown Brattleboro. Our beautiful room with fireplace was the perfect setting for a cozy and relaxing getaway in the middle of winter. Would love to return in other seasons to enjoy the gardens and trails just outside the door.

Superb B&B. The breakfast were excellent and beautifully served, The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was lovely and well kept. Highly recommend the Crosby House.

Comfortable and cosy

We wanted a short break somewhere pleasant and comfortable with good walking and good food nearby and in an old and interesting house, and we got all those things here. Breakfasts were delicious, our hosts friendly and welcoming but not obtrusive, and there was plenty of information available about what to do in the vicinity. Behind the house is access to good walking trails, and the house is a twenty minute walk from downtown, where there were some good restaurants and interesting stores. The room and bed were comfortable and clean, and coffee/tea and cookies were available downstairs in the parlor at any hour. We would happily stay here again.

Perfect for a quiet getaway !

Our experience exceed our expectation. The Crosby House was everything we can ask for from the room to the breakfast in the mornings we that we visited. The staff was second to none. Which made the experience one of the best. They were very attentive to our needs when we asked them. It felt like we were part of their family. We would not hesitate to stay or recomend to anyone to make it a place to stay on there visit.

Very romantic - Beyond our expectations

This is my first trip to a B&B. I have only stayed in hotels and I wanted a very romantic weekend with my significant other. This place lived well above and beyond our expectations. My boyfriend and I felt so welcomed as soon as we came through the door. Not only were we greeted with the warmest smiles, but the ambiance makes you feel like you are home. I really do not know where to start about my stay. We stayed at the Crosby House for 2 nights in January and I wish we stayed more. It was exactly what I wanted. A working fireplace, two seat shower, and the warmest quilt you will ever feel. The breakfast was fantastic, only way to describe it. Everyone one was so helpful with ideas of what to do in town. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate available at any time in the parlor. I will stay there again prior to the end of the year. This is a must stay bed and breakfast. They set the bar very high for the next one I visit.

Beautiful but not fussy

B&B is well kept in Victorian style. I appreciated that owner and apprentice innkeeper were friendly and light-hearted, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious all three days!

Wonderful Stay

Great location, beautiful home and wonderful staff. We really enjoyed out stay. Be sure to spend time in the back gardens, very nice.

Charming bed and breakfast!

Very clean and comfortable bed and breakfast. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to friends.
