The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel was in a great location. The free breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The staff were excellent, vert helpful and friendly. I was sick my last day there and they helped me in everyway they could! Thank you staff.

Wonderful hotel in a magical place

Wonderful location in this very special town. The hotel is 4-5 blocks from the town center and the rooms are set back from the street. The rooms face the central courtyard/dining area, so there is some sound from the other rooms echoing but in all my stay was fantastic and they provided covered, secure parking for my motorcycle across the street

Clean and Spacious

We had a great stay at Casa del Cafe Real. Staff was super friendly and Hotel was very clean in a good area of town, a few blocks from the main square. Only cons would be that the shower head had a small leak(drop nonstop) and the rooms are very spacious but with no place to seat. A small couch pr couple pf chairs to seat would be great! 👍

This hotel is perfect. I’m totally happy to this point. It’s a little walk from the center, but helps to keep it quiet. Great room, strong and stable internet. Large bathroom, strong shower, hot water. Don’t know about breakfast yet as just arrived this afternoon. Staff is great!

This is not a boutique hotel. It is a nice B&B place BUT the beds are just terrible: with hard and deformed springs. My friend and my self still with pain in the neck and back, we really had a bad time trying to fall sleep there, and of course we did not rest. The coffee (as in all Coatepec) is delicious and the people working there are nice and gentle.

A lovely little hotel in a beautiful town. If you like coffee you will love it around here. Coffee shops everywhere open early and late with excellent pastries. A light breakfast was included with excellent coffee and other breakfast items were available for sale. Helpful desk personnel helped us out with a tour which was wonderful. The updated bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. Whomever installed the shower knew what they were doing. And lots of hot water and water pressure. We loved the area and the surrounding towns as well. We would definitely recommend.

The room had a stuffy smell. The bed felt as if it was made of stone. You could hear all the noise from the other rooms. We asked to change rooms when we first arrived due to the stuffy smell and they would not accommodate due being in the room for 20 minutes.

Very nice hotel, clean and quiet. The breakfast from the menu was good and affordable. Only problem was we didn't feel welcome when we arrived. We showed up a couple of hours before the time of check-in and I asked politely if there was a place where I could have a Zoom meeting. The guy at the front desk was not nice (although not rude either) and told me I could use the comedor area. WiFi connection was terrible and in the end I had to give up on the meeting. In addition, they didn't offer to take care of our luggage while the room was ready, neither they offer to help with our luggage once the room was ready.

We arrived here at noon on a Friday and as all travellers are we were tired and wanted to get into our room and freshen up. We decided to eat lunch at hotels restaurant to both patronize them and wait. Checkin was at 3 but at 2 we asked if our room was ready. Clerk said it was ready at noon but we could not checkin until 3. At this point my wife lost it and asked why? Clerk said it was policy, my wife said call the manager. No answer....We walked out and have never been treated so rudely. We have travelled all over the world and understand if a room is not ready however if it is, EVERYWHERE we have been it was offred to us. Cannot recommend this place.

The attitude of the lady manager of the 2nd shift was not so good. She doesn´t understand the meaning of try ALWAYS to please the guests as much as you can and make them feel comfortable. Especially if they buy 12 nights in a hotel, especially if they are older adults and especially if they want or ask for things that do not affect the hotel. It is incredible to keep discusing with this lady at 9 PM if I can get 2 empty glasses per room (That is 8 rooms) answering that if each one of the 4 major adults has to go to the front desk to request for their 2 emty glasses because the rules of the hotel is not to put glasses in the room. Never had the possibility to use the empty (not in use) dining room because those are the rules. RIDICULOUS. I love the hotel and the breakfast but I will not recomend this hotel to my friends. Water temperature in the shower is impossible to get unless you know the code to get it.
