Our stay at Dandaloo was great. Ample room in our room choice, 2 adults, 2 young children. The mattress on the sofa bed could do with an update and more pillows in the room would be our only tips. Gardens are beautiful, Roxanne was a great host. Close enough to walk to Arcadia. Would most definitely stay here again

Beautiful property and unit with ample natural lighting and great temperature control. We loved sitting on our back patio when the sun started to set and watching the abundance of birds and bats! The unit was stunning with a lot of space with great kitchen that had a fridge with cold water and ice, which none of the other places we stayed in Australia had! The windows in the unit were in the front and back, which felt like we were staying in a condo-like hotel room, it was so nice! The property manager was very friendly as well, and gave great local recommendations. It was better than expected for the price we paid!

Great place to stay

We were very happy with our choice to stay at dandaloo gardens. The location of the place makes it easy to get around the island via bus. It was also nice to have an actual double/queen bed rather than two singles pushed together with the gap in the middle. Overall we were happy with the accomodation and will be back next time.

Lovely setting

Great property. Large cabin with comfy sitting area to watch tv. Fabulous free laundry. Great wifi. Owner working hard to improve the grounds. We really enjoyed her efforts and the birds. Only negative is drive to beaches with stinger nets, but there is a nice pool. Otherwise, walkable to food and nature walks.

The property itself was quite nice and a short walk to the bus stop, resturant and swimming hole. Checking in though was challenging. There was noone available in the office and several unanswered phone calls and 40 minutes later, the manager finally pulled into the carpark. No apology from them and in fact, told us she had to turn around from heading home for a swim and relax. We were checking in at check-in time

The place was so beautiful! Was like a little oasis full of vibrant plants that gave so much privacy. We knew others were staying there but we barely saw anyone. The rooms were sparkling clean and modern - cannot recommended staying here enough!

Just about perfect really

The apartment was lovely, spacious and light with good amenities including laundry. Beautiful gardens,curlews , pool and bbqs. If I had to try to think up something that could be improved it would be maybe provide a coffee plunger (but we brought our own anyway!)

Great short trip to Magnetic island

We had a great time, the accommodation was excellent and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Also be sure to eat at the pub close by as it’s excellent value.

Unexpectedly huge house on the corner - beautiful setting, especially the pool set in among the trees. You could easily host two families here if kids don't mind camping in the living rooms, and the shops within walking distance would supply all you need to cook if you wanted to. Wifi was patchy and we needed to sit near reception to get access.

Roxanne was amazing. She had arranged blown up balloons and a birthday banner for my twins birthday and she told us all about what Maggie Island had to offer. The room was great for a family. We will certainly be back.
