Great room and facilities. Some staff is kind and helpful, but we have had a bad check out experience that left us with a negative experience and we have thus cancelled our return plans for later this month. Good potential but a service of a 3 star hotel.

Messy check in, very noisy room the first night being awoken at 5am! Overall it was a comfortable stay- staff very helpful. For a city break it’s ok! Rooms misleading! No private pools, which I booked and paid for. No central hotel facilities- several villas all spread out- all built internally overlooking a courtyard with small plunge pools. Don’t book tours through hotel as very overpriced. Overall ok stay and staff helpful

We fall in love at first sign - everything was perfect: from interiors to AAA+ staff that helps us with almost any need and requests. The Cassas XVI was wonderful. Very convenient to multiple restaurants, plazas, and small shops. Staff was friendly, responsive and helpful. I would recommend to any visitors to Santo Domingo.

Our stay was really incredible. The staff is so professional, attentive and extremely friendly. From the one who helps you park your car right in front to all the other staff members that are ready to wait on you 24/7. The breakfast choice we made was spectacular, highly recommend it. The actual grounds are superbly maintained and the Casas are stunning!. Definitely recommend it as we will definitely go back to stay!!!!.

I’ll be back.

This trip was absolutely splendid. The staff was friendly and attentive. Every corner of every room was unique, chic and inspirational. Every time I left and returned, it gave me a warm “welcome back home” feeling. I even got a sneak peek into the other 2 rooms in our shared villa and feel in love with each rooms difference. Having room service can be a bit expensive and some dishes need a little more seasoning but it was filling. As for the location, it’s a cool 3 min. walk to the main streets to explore and to be picked up from for excursions. Overall, I will be returning.

Really beautiful property in the heart of the colonial city, walkable to many restaurants and shops. We loved our room as well as the lovely pool area outside. There is a lot of staff on hand and they are very friendly and helpful. This would be a great place for a group as you can rent all of the rooms in one of the “houses” to have a private area. There was construction right outside while we were there, but it didn’t impact our stay.
