Pretty good but not graet

Pretty good is our rating of this stay. The room was in the basement (which I could not tell when ordering) but it was comfortable and clean. The "no meat" breakfast was okay but the woman who owns the inn could not seem to understand my wife's inability to eat certain foods. She was not overly concerned about it either.

When you read Douceur Belges Inn, you imagine that rooms are clean, good condition, with all facilities you need, but when you are in (not Inn) no TV, no refregerator, no microwave, no coffee machine, only a fan. Also the room wason the ground floor and there was a terrible smell of mold. A 70 year old couple manages the hotel, the man was too friendly and helpful but the woman not so much, she charged me $ 50 tips for 3 nights in addition to the room that cost $ 130 that I found already expensive for the service. The only positive point, that the location was next to my customer

The owners take great pride in their business, and made us feel like we were family. They constantly ensured that we had everything we needed and the breakfasts were amazing.

Lise and Giles were excellent Hosts. We had a full breakfast every day that was amazing. I recommend the Douceurs Belges Inn to everyone! AWESOME!

We were surprised to find out this was someone’s home. The owners were gracious and friendly. The conformation information said there was no office so message them before arriving. I was a little nervous because we were told by message that we could come anytime and they would be there. If the info had said owners were onsite, I would have been more comfortable.

J'ai énormément apprécié le bain tourbillon très relaxant, qui m'a détendue après une très longue journée.Ma nuit.fut très agréable, sans interruption de sommeil sur un excellent matelas. J'avais demandé de préparer mon déjeuner inclus dans le forfait, pour 7 heures a.m,. ce qui fut respecter. Excellent endroit à retenir.

Belle endroit. Nos hôtes Lise et Gilles sont très accueillants et souriants. La nourriture est excellente. Les chambres sont bien aménagées et possède les commodités nécessaire. Merci !!!

Lise was a lovely host, warm, welcoming, helpful and a good sense of humour. The b&b was immaculate. The Breakfast was delicious....buckwheat pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, bread, juice, coffee. We did not need lunch that day!

Le propriétaire est un beau parleur...

Positif : endroit calme qui est proche de Québec. Négatif : pas de salle de bain mais un évier dans la chambre. Le coin wc est très étroit. Pas de meuble afin de ranger les vêtements mais des cintres à suspendre sur 2 porte-manteaux.

Interesting

Interesting setting. No TV. No A/C. Bathtub in room with bed.... which was weird as we are sisters. Great breakfast. Terrible snack/protein bar. Bottled water on first night only. Easy access to highway.

Beau, bon, pas cher.

Quand on a pas envie d'être dans le feu de l'action, pour se détendre, c'est l'endroit idéal. Acceuillant et surtout très propre. L'attention est mise à la bonne place.

Un petit goût de la Belgique

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour aux Délices belges. L'accueil est chaleureux. Les hôtes sont agréables. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent autant agréable à l'oeil qu'au goût. J'ai beaucoup apprécié de pouvoir travailler dans le solarium pendant mon séjour. Celui-ci combinait à la fois vacances et travail.

Should be advertised as a B&B

The name of this accommodation is misleading - I did not know it was a B&B. Excellent Breakfast and the owners(Couple) are very obliging and helpful. Disappointed that there was no TV or the usual Tea/Coffee, microwave or shampoo in the room. Could not get WiFi in the basement room - had to go upstairs to use my computer. The Room is a bit small, but it has its own private bathroom with a jacuzzi. Location is good and is close to most restaurants and shopping - within a 7-8 minute drive. There is also a nice Thai restaurant within a 5 minute walking distance. The parking area needs to be ashalpheted especially since the grounds get wet and a bit messy during rain. Overall, a bit pricey for what you get.

Elegance in Quebec

This is a lovely B&B outside the Quebec city center. It's .3 miles to the bus stop and a 40 minute ride to Old Town - highly recommend the bus over driving and paying for parking. The English/French-speaking hosts were wonderful at giving directions. Breakfasts were marvelous, and the Jacuzzi tub was large enough to practically swim in. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
