Although My first night wasn’t the best, it was quite memorable, the staff Was cool and accommodating so they quickly made up for it. so did the activities and Guides, being close to public transportation is a plus too. Great staff and lovely people.

The staff was extremely nice and I felt very comfortable during my stay! The beds were well-kept, bathrooms were cleaned regularly, and it was easy to talk to other guests. They also held events and tours which allows you to meet others. Highly recommended!

The only thing that was slightly negative about this place is the walls are sooooo thin. Other than that excellent everyone was so nice the room was clean and comfy and the coffee was great! Definitely will stay again :)

Wonderful experience in Portland!

It was a great experience, staff was very helpful, coffee was great and the vibe was incredible. I had a lot of work to do, and was able to always find a quiet corner to focus in and get work done.

Charming hotel

Pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed staying here. I had a private room and it was really nice and clean. The hotel was entertaining as they had a vintage fair one of the nights I stayed featuring local artists. They have a nice cafe in the lobby. Even though the hotel attracts a younger crowd I didn’t feel awkward or unwelcome as a late thirties woman traveling alone.

Very comfortable bed, loved the minimalist concept, and the convenience of having a coffee bar in the communal space. Did not love how most of the rooftop area was reserved for private events on both weekend nights. I will definitely return to this location.

Absolutely loved staying here! The coffee shop with endless seating, and the indoor AND rooftop bars were clutch! The staff and other travelers were all so friendly and welcoming. And the Saturday group outing to Washington Park and the Saturday market were a blast! Ending up making friends from other countries and spending the rest of the weekend together. I’ll be back soon!

This place was amazing! I saw the reviews and thought I'd try the place out. The people there are awesome and make you feel welcomed. They have events always going on to get people together and make it more social. There is a cool rooftop to enjoy. The rooms, and service is top notch. There is a bus stop right in front, so it's easy to travel around. I would definitely come back to this place next time I am in the city.

The room we took was a last minute option but it did not disappoint. The rooftop bar gave wonderful views of the city, and the location was perfect for getting between the popular destinations between Hawthorne and Alberta, as well as being in a comfortable walking distance of the Old Town and the Pearl District. The amenities, whilst we didn't need to use them all, were excellent. I would both return there and recommend staying there to anyone.
