Top spot ! Close to the best shopping and drinking spots/suburb in Norway. Highly recommend checking out Oslovelo bar around the corner whilst staying here :-)

Basic, but fully functional, I stayed in a private double room. The pros are: the bed was fine, I didn’t hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms during the duration of my stay, kitchenette was well equipped (with fridge, double hob, basic cooking utensils, plates, glasses, cups & crockery), transport links were good. Cons: no tv or hairdryer, only one mirror which is located in the bathroom. Overall, great for the price we paid

Overall a Decent Stay

Good location, close to multiple public transportation stops and convenience stores. Decent room sizes. Only thing, no way to control room temperature... you are at the mercy of hotel.

I didnt feel safe sleeping on the top floor of the bunk bed as you are 2 meters above the floor with no protection if you fall of your 90 cm bed. And yes, you are sleeping in a dormitory with 20 other people. I got no sleep, people came in and out, was snooring etc.But thats what you get when you sleep in a hostel. Sad to see everyone on their phones. I have slept in hostels before and there used to be much more interaction when there were no cell phones. The good part, there was a market around the corner and staff are friendly.

Started a bit bad, but ended excellent!

I stayed in 3 private rooms for a total of 9 nights, split because I stayed at an airbnb in between and was switched to a better room for my longer stay. The first stay of two nights was great in a room on the ground floor with a view outwards towards Fagerheimgata road. But the second room I got was small and facing inwards towards the courtyard and entrance, and it was very noisy at night and I was woken up in the middle of the night. I asked people at the reception two of the nights, but they were fully booked. But the fourth day, this nice girl called Maria at the reception moved me to this nice room on the 4th floor, and it was quiet and peaceful and with a nice view of the trees. Very relaxing after the other room. The proximity to the Kiwi grocery store just next door, the small kitchen with the kitchen set, the laundry facilities, and the terrace all makes this a really nice place to stay at. Except if you are in one of the rooms facing inwards into the courtyard. They are also okay if they can have quiet hours.

A lovely welcome at check in from the friendly gentleman on the front desk around 5pm on Thursday 24 November. The establishment was quiet, clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.
