Sally is just exceptional! The property in my opinion is in good shape, has all amenities that you need and still have a touch of personal homestay or Bed and breakfast. While everything about this property is just perfect, for us the real deal was Sally and her breakfast! It’s just amazing and her knowledge about the area and suggestions are noteworthy. She is very kind, helpful, jolly and lovely! For me personally, the only think was missing was body lotion which I didn’t even shared with Sally during the trip as this was a perfect stay.

We liked everything about our stay at this beautiful B&B from the location, fabulous property with all amenities we could ask for and Sally the owner who went above and beyond to make our stay a delight. Sally war sehr freundlich und hat uns stets gute Empfehlungen für Ausflüge gegeben. Das Haus ist sehr schön und hochwertig eingerichtet. Auch das Frühstück war bestens. Die öffentliche Nahverkehrsanbindung ist zwar nicht optimal, das Haus dafür recht ruhig gelegen. Gern kommen wir wieder.

An excellent professionally run b and b.

An attractive b and b in pleasant quiet residential location convenient for our purpose. The host was polite and helpful without being intrusive. The room was tastefully modernised with all facilities. The breakfast was excellent with good choice. Have already recommended this accommodation to others.

Great experience. Sally is a fountain of information, run your itinerary/tic list by her and she will make your trip doable. Sally also makes an incredible breakfast spread, farmhouse table style where you get to meet the other guests. The outdoor patio is beautiful, she even grows her own produce. The underground is about 12-15 minutes away, bring walking shoes! Ladies who want to look cute, forget it bring walking shoes! If you choose not to head my advice, then bring bandages for your blisters, lol. All the rooms are different so you have choices depending on your needs. I preferred staying at this bed and breakfast over a hotel because you truly get the London experience. I will definitely go back.

A great place to stay

This was our first stay here but it is unlikely to be our last, We were welcomed on arrival and shown our room. Staff were friendly and it was really helpful to be able to drop our bags off early. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. Everywhere was clean and people could not have bene nicer. Thank you so much.

This is a very nice bed&breakfast in a quiet neighbourhood not far from the city centre of London. (20-30minutes using public transport) The owner Sally and her son Chris are very friendly and helpfull and like to help plan your day. They have a lot of good tips on where to go, what to see and how to get there. The breakfast is really tasty, plentifull and prepared on the spot. Ideal for a citytrip to London (or a longer stay), they are located south of London which means you can get there almost without traffic if you come from Dover or Folkstone (eurotunnel). If you're using public transportation there is a direct line from St Pancreas (where the eurostar arrives)

Comfortable and welcoming Victorian villa

I had a comfortable night's stay at Parklands. It was initially a little tricky to find as there is no signage outside, so I was a little worried I'd gone to someone's house to begin with! There is free on street parking however. Once inside it is a lovely Victorian villa with some great original features. The room was very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. My only suggestion would be some teabags and milk to go with the kettle (I only had coffee bags and hot chocolate). Other than that it was perfect! Very quiet and with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was great as well - lots of choice and the host offered to cook a selection of hot food. The times (8:30-9:30) might be a little restrictive for business tenderhearts, though, although it suited me in the day. All in all this was a great stay in a lovely B&B and I would gladly stay again!

Unforgettable Stay

Our stay at Parklands B&B was nothing short of PERFECT. We couldn't have made a better decision than staying at Parklands. We were able to live the culture, which was truly an invaluable experience. Sally and Chris also provided us an extraordinary concierge travel service which they tailored to our individual taste. Without them, our trip wouldn't have come close to being as special as it was; It would have been extremely difficult to navigate. Every morning after breakfast, they provided us with a detailed map and itinerary for the day, including sights, attractions, and recommendations that are commonly unknown to foreign tourists. We feel as if we got to experience London from an inside perspective. Another highlight would be spending a night with the other guests at the B&B, all from different nationalities and cultures sharing a drink and having some laughs as a group - Which was more than we could have ever asked for. Forget hotels' "continental breakfast." Breakfast at Parklands B&B was phenomenal, all carefully prepared with fresh goods and local produce under Sally's expertise and preparation. Starting the day off with a fruitful meal and good company was almost like having breakfast at a friend's home, which is always a good way to start off your day. If you're looking for a vanilla tourist experience, book at the nearest Hilton and a hop-on/hop-off tour bus. If you're looking for an unforgettable, unique and tailor-fit London experience, then Parklands B&B

Zu 100% Empfehlenswert

Wir waren zu zweit für 3 Nächte da und hatten zusätzlich Frühstück gebucht. Es ist sehr familiär und die Leute sind super nett und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Die Wasserflasche wurde ebenfalls jeden Tag neu gefüllt. Das Frühstück war frisch und abwechslungsreich. Von Obst bis zu Schokohörnchen gab es alles und bei Bedarf auch frischen Speck und Rührei. In der Nähe an der Straße fährt ein Bus der auf Wunsch anhält. An einer sicheren Stelle (auf der richtigen Seite😉) einfach die Hand rausstrecken und man wird eingesammelt. Das gleiche wenn man aussteigen will...einfach den Knopf drücken. Ansonsten kommt man mit der Underground in der Dorfmitte überall hin. Es ist wirklich empfehlenswert, wenn man nicht direkt in der City sein will und es familiär mag.

What a wonderful stay we had at Parklands! An effortlessly elegant B&B with all the luxuries you would expect at top end hotels; branded toiletries, fluffy towels and bathrobes with 'oh so comfy' beds and bedding. It is tastefully decorated throughout and has a delightful rear garden which all add up to a lovely tranquil atmosphere; such a pleasant surprise for London! Breakfast was delicious, with locally sourced produce and home made croissants and pan au chocolat. Mmm! Sally, the owner, is a joy, who goes out of her way to make your stay as good as it gets.

Lovely hosts, gorgeous home.

Sally & Chris are fantastic hosts, you're made to feel welcome as soon as you step through the door. The house is gorgeous we stayed in the twin room which has a private use bathroom just down the hall. We didn't opt for breakfast as we're lazy, but it smelt lovely. Our room overlooked the lovely garden where we were welcome to cool down with a drink when we arrived early. It is a little further out than we would normally stay, tube is about 15-20 mins walk, but due to a happy accident we found a bus service that runs from tooting broadway to the end of parklands road, which is useful when lugging your bags in 30 degree heat! Sally & Chris were so helpful and knowledgeable & kept us cool providing ice & cold water for our journeys, & a fan for our room which was a godsend! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Gemütliches, sauberes B&B

Sally und Ihr Team waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, aber bitte bei der Buchung prüfen, ob das Frühstück inklusiv ist. Das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und alles wie neu eingerichtet. Wir können dieses B&B auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.
