In November 2018 en February 2020, I rented a room during 3-5 days in the THATHONG HOUSE, in Kantharalak, Sisaket, Thailand. The complex has 16 rooms. Its build was completed in the beginning of 2018, when I am correct. My impression: OUTSTANDING ACCOMODATION. When you need to stay in Kantharalak for a holiday, or even a long-time internship, this could be your room!
Why? Well, the room is new, the room is Swiss-clean, the room is spacious, has a 2-person-sofa sitting area, has a dining area (table with 2 chairs), has a kitchen-corner, a water-cooker, a refrigerator, a dresser with Tv, a double-bed with an good matrass, a bathroom, and a silent air-conditioner. According to my estimation, the total ground surface of the room is 36square meters; 3-4 meters for the bathroom, and 33-32meters for the ‘living’ room included the kitchen corner. Compared to the living room, the bathroom is a bit small, but everything is present: toilet, shower and lavatory. The only nuisance is that that toilet is also prayed when you take a shower. The ceiling of the room is at 2.80m, I believe, which gives you the impression that you have some ‘space’ to breath.
Everything in the room functioned as it should and every day, the room was cleaned, and the towels changed for a clean set. Total price was THB 500 per day, paid cash to the friendly staff. To me, the Tathong House is a nice place to stay for a few days. I value 8 points out of 10 points. Thank you for reading.
