Bella Mare

Very nice accommodation and location. Large balcony, but a wasted space with only a small table and two chairs. Air conditioning not very effective. Could have done with some easy chairs rather than a spare single bed as a sofa - kitchenette incomplete with large hole in worktop, but as a 'junior suite' spacious enough for 2 and a nice shower room. Good reception staff.

Great hotel in a beauiful bay.

Lovely hotel in a great little bay with a thin pebble beach. Sea is amazing. The hotel room was large, clean and comfortable and the hotel facilities were great. The bar man in particular was very firendly. All in all, a great stay!

Paradise on the Ionian sea

From the moment we drove through the gate we were awestruck with this hotel. The appearance was 5*, the welcome was so friendly, the upgraded room very welcomed and totally luxurious with an outstanding view of the bay. The garden area is extensive so you never feel crowded, and the staff at the pool bar serve beautiful food and drinks. The pool was accommodating for all ages with easy access and of an Olympic size, and of course the sea so close it was difficult to decide which option to take!! We watched guests leave the jetty on the small boats you could hire from reception, to explore neighbouring coves, and we saw the relaxing area were you could receive treatments if you felt like a massage, all very tempting if our stay had been longer. The breakfast was superb, with plenty of choice each day, and again very friendly staff who are always available to help, but never rushed you to leave your table. Although I only visited for 4 days, I would really have been happy to stay a month, I really did not want to leave!! Perfect.

Beautiful, Friendly and Comfortable Hotel.

Bella Mare was just what I was looking for at the end of my break, I’d already been all inclusive in the south and then moved to Corfu Town so was looking for somewhere quieter, relaxed and on the beach with good swimming options. Hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are immaculate and modern and I had a lovely balcony overlooking pool and sea. Easy to get a sun lounger and access to sea is a great bonus.

Un piccolo paradiso affacciato su una baia super

Ottima struttura sulla spiaggia di Avlaki, una delle più belle (ma piccole) di Corfù. Si tratta di un hotel con poche camere, quasi tutte dotate anche di un piccolo angolo cucina, che risulta molto utile se si vuole anche preparare qualcosa di veloce da mangiare. Le camere sono decisamente ampie e ben arredate, con uno stile che si integra perfettamente nell'ambiente. Ottima anche la colazione con molti piatti tipici e sempre freschi. Ma sicuramente il punto forte di questa struttura è la zona spiaggia/piscina, dove si può stare in perfetto relax davanti ad un mare meraviglioso, dove si può fare snorkeling a pochi metri dalla riva (davvero incantevole per chi non è troppo esigente). Personale molto gentile e disponibile e bar/ristorante nella zona piscina davvero carino e con un ottimo menù, assolutamente da provare. A due passi ci sono anche due bei ristoranti caratteristici sulla spiaggia dove si mangia davvero bene. Posto ideale per le famiglie (ce ne sono anche troppe) e per chi vuole relax, meno per chi cerca vita mondana o notturna. Unico neo, il titolare (o un parente) che occupava regolarmente (nel periodo in cui siamo stati) due lettini sulla spiaggia (purtroppo non ce ne sono molti, potrebbero aggiungerne un pò) senza lasciarli invece ai clienti, atteggiamento questo molto maleducato e poco incline ad una gestione corretta dei clienti.

Gepflegtes, familiäres Hotel in traumhafter Lage

Schon bei Ankunft hat uns die gepflegte Anlage mit dem tollen Blick auf die Bucht begeistert. an der Rezeption wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und zum Zimmer im Haupthaus begleitet. Zunächst waren wir etwas enttäuscht, da wir einen direkten Meerblick und ein etwas helleres Zimmer erwartet haben. Leider war auch ein Zimmertsisch bei ausgebuchtem Hotel nicht möglich. Letztlich waren wir dennoch zufrieden, da die Zimmer sehr sauber und frisch-modern eingerichtet waren. Die Zimmerreinigung erfolgte mit täglichem Wechsel der Hand- und Strandtücher. Das war nicht gerade umweltschonend. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! Besonders das Team der Poolbar! Kleinere Gerichte waren dort zu moderaten Preisen zu bekommen. Zum Frühstück saßen wir meistens auf der hübschen Terrasse. Den Kaffe könnte man sich am Nespressoautomaten selbst machen oder auch Filterkaffee aus der Kanne bekommen. Große Abwechslung gab es nicht- haben wir im Griechenland aber auch nicht erwartet. Dadurch, dass das Hotel nur wenige Zimmer hat, war es am Pool auch immer auszuhalten. Die Liegen könnten allerdings mal wieder gereinigt werden. Der Pool ist mit verschiedenen Wassertiefen für Große und Kleine geeignet. Es gibt noch ein Kinderbecken. Besonders schön fanden wir verschiedene andere Sitzmöglichkeiten wie Sandsäcke Auf dem rasen mit Blick zum Meer. Der Zugang zum Kieselstrand erfolgt über zwei kleine Treppen. Zum Schnorcheln eignete sich die Bucht sehr gut. Wir haben sogar bunte Fische gesehen!

Lovely location at the end of a small secluded beach with a beautiful seaside pool. Ask for a room on upper level. The two restaurants nearby on the beach both serve good food. We preferred the Avlaki, someone in kitchen understands food.

Superb Location and Property.

Peaceful situation and very comfortable with modern decor. We had a sea view from our balcony - idyllic! Breakfast was lovely and could be eaten outside. We had a small kitchen area with a kettle, fridge, sink, crockery and small hob etc.- only problem was lack of a saucepan had we wanted to heat anything. The staff were lovely and most helpful. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Ruhiges Hotel an toller Strandlage

:-)) ein schönes, ruhiges Hotel an toller Strandlage in einer kleinen Bucht, Frühstück inklusive. Super Aussicht auf das Meer vom Zimmer, Garten, Frühstücksterrasse aus. Auto oder Motorrad unbedingt nötig. Gepflegter Garten mit schönem Pool. Überall freundliche Angestellte, sehr saubere Zimmer. Gleich um die Ecke ein sehr nettes griechisches Restaurant, das andere hatte noch zu. :-( einzig der Hotelmanager könnte sich ein wenig mehr um die Gäste beim Frühstück kümmern oder auch mal einen Tisch abräumen. Es hat immer 3-4 Katzen, die um die Tische auf der Terrasse rumschleichen

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit Pool

Mein Mann und ich waren eine Woche dort. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt! Wer Ruhe sucht, Sonnen und Baden möchte ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Chambre avec vue sur mer tenant ses promesses

Nous avons globalement beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Quelques aménagements ont néanmoins dû être effectués. La chambre préalablement choisie comportait la description "Vue sur le jardin", mais il n'en est rien ; il s'agit plutôt d'une vue sur le parking, sans dégagement aucun. Nous avons donc changé de chambre, moyennant un supplément (30 euros par nuit) et avons ensuite bénéficié d'une magnifique chambre design avec vue sur mer ; les différences entre les 2 chambres étaient très importantes avec des prestations incomparables. Il faut néanmoins signifier que la chambre avec "Vue sur le jardin" était très spacieuse et pouvait mieux convenir aux personnes à mobilité réduite (rez de chaussée). L'hôtel donne un accès direct à une plage de galets et offre des collations payantes à toute heure au bord d'une piscine bien entretenue. Le petit déjeuner sous la forme d'un buffet est copieux, varié et très bon. La propreté est irréprochable dans le complexe hôtelier. Le personnel de maison et de restauration est aimable et serviable. Le parking gratuit est appréciable. La réseau wifi pourrait être amélioré car plutôt mauvais.

Excellent hotel for a relaxing holiday.

Excellent small hotel; almost all rooms have balcony with a sea view. Beautiful pool (plus child's pool) with plenty of sun beds and shade. Pebbly beach and lovely clear-water sea only 10 metres from pool. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of variety for breakfast and all-day pool bar. About 1 mile from the centre of Kassiopi. A real top class place for a relaxing holiday.

Hotel Bella Mare bliss.

A 4 night stay in an ideal location for peace and tranquility. excellent hotel with B and B facilities. Glorious grounds next to and overlooking Avlaki beach. ideal for getting away form it all and relaxing. renting a car is preferable if you want to get out and about as there are only 2 restaraunt's at Avlaki and its about 1.5 miles to Kassiopi. however its walkable if you can stand the heat of summer, or get a taxi.

Exceptional Quality, more than worth its cost.

The setting, just off Avlaki beach, the Pool area all with comfortable and ample sun beds, were all perfect. Accommodation was far better than expected, comfortable, spacious and bright. The shower was walk in and good. Breakfast ample choice and very user friendly. If I have any suggestions it would be that the pool bar staff and choice on offer, did not match the general ambience of Bella Mare. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Schönes, familiäres Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, nicht sehr groß (Anzahl der Zimmer) aber großzügig angelegt und es scheint erst kürzlich renoviert worden zu sein. Das Personal ist sehr nett, kinderfreundlich und hilfsbereit, inklusive der Chefin, die fließend Deutsch spricht und schon beim Frühstück gerne Auskünfte gibt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut und reichhaltig, aber etwas mehr Abwechslung wäre schön. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und besitzen praktischerweise auch eine Kochnische. Von allen Zimmern hat man eine gute Aussicht auf die malersische, ruhige Avlaki-Bucht mit dem langen Steinstrand. Der Strand ist wegen den großen Steinen an der Stelle des Hotels leider nicht wirklich zum liegen geeignet, aber der Pool vom Hotel ist auch nur gut 10 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Etwas störend am Pool ist, dass die Straße direkt dahinter vorbei führt und doch relativ viele Autos (keine Unmengen, aber doch einige) vorbei fahren da es eine Zufahrtsstraße zu einem anderen Ort ist. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es zwei gute Restaurants, aber sonst gibt es in der Bucht nichts. Der schöne Fischerort Kassiopi ist zwar nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, aber wer Abends mehr Unterhaltung in Hotelnähe will für den ist dieses Hotel weniger geeignet. Dafür gibt es in Avlaki nicht viele Touristen (zumindest als wir dort waren im Mai) obwohl es eine wirklich schöne Umgebung ist. Man kann vom anderen Ende des Strandes aus auch gut zu kleineren, auch sehr schönen Buchten wandern an denen man noch ungestörter ist.
