Our room had a very nice view of the ocean and lobby area. When our rooms ac sprung a leak the staff quickly relocated us to another room. The staff was very friendly and willing to make our stay very relaxing.
My friend and I decided to book a all inclusive hotel for one night on new years eve. If you like waiting in lines, then this is the right place for you. It took 5 hours for our room to be ready and over an hour to wait to check in. Another two hour wait if you want dinner reservations. We tried to go for sushi for lunch, but told it was only for dinner service reservations, then saw them serving people for lunch. All we ate there were some mediocre tacos for lunch because of all the lines and waiting. I've been in Mexico over a month and this is the only time I've gotten the runs. Not managed well at all amongst other things that happened. I would not return here, huge waste of money. On a positive note, the room was gorgeous, most of the staff were nice, and the beach is beautiful.

Sucked
This place needs some work. Not that great at all.
Upgrading my room to have VIP status was worth it and I recommend it if you stay at this hotel. However, hotel advertising makes this seem like a "sexy" place to be when it is really the ideal vacation for the typical 20-year old spring breaker. This is not the hotel for the more discerning traveler (i.e. the ants that were all over my in-room coffee set-up, the leaking toilet, and my iron that disappeared from my room day one and never reappeared, the bird poop on my balcony that was never cleaned during my week-long stay). With that said, the restaurants were amazing and the hotel's redeeming quality. Word of warning - making a reservation for said restaurants is a 20-minute wait in line in the hotel lobby and you can only make one reservation per day with many restaurants being full day-of. With my VIP status, I was invited on behalf of the hotel's "expedia" representative to tour the other Oasis hotel down the street that I had access to. Once there, I was tricked into listening to a sales gig for an expensive travel service. Total scam. I'll be complaining to Expedia. In all, I don't think this hotel experience is worth the price to stay.
This was my first trip to Grand Oasis Sens ....we normally go to Temptations but they are closed for renovations .....the beach was amazing the view from the pool was amazing ...we met many friendly staff members who were very helpful ....we met some great people and had a wonderful time ....their are areas of the hotel that need some upgrading ...the hallways to the rooms are in a bad state of repair ...but we dont spend our time in the hallways and everything else was stellar ..big thanks to Gustavo and Sarah69 at the pool ...Gabriela and the other bartenders and Fidel at the baggage station
