If youre not too fussy, its a decent place.
Its quiet, some parts spooky, nothing interesting in the area except a KFC 50m away, 2 convenience stores 200m away, and a whole lot of massage shops in that area. If you venture a little more, there are some cafes behind. The hotel doesnt have its own restaurant.
The area is ok though, feels very safe and generally quiet but safe, you are unlikely to feel intimidated by the surroundings or people you bump into. But the feeling is, it looks safe, it feels safe, gut tells you its safe, but theres still a tiny niggly doubt.
Hotel staff are ok, not overly friendly, opens your door, and gets things done, smiles may or may not be offered... but they serve you.
Facilities are old, an actual key is used for room access, haha, no bedside lighting, no bedside switches, no cable tv, wifi drops very often. Cant stream at all.
I was quite happy with it given i was there for an exhibition at IMPACT. Its a good choice if you are out of options for a visit to IMPACT, if you cant get transport back, walking is an option, 30 mins walk. Just go back to rest and get ready for the next day.
Just remember to grab dinner before heading back.
