The staff were brilliant, kind, polite and helpful. The beds were very hard and the bathrooms need upgrading as well as the air conditioning. We upgraded to a deluxe room and found it strange that the tv was in front of the beds and not in the seating area. There were not enough plug sockets either. They also need to stop the chinese visitors from smoking in their rooms as this came through our air conditioning unit which was annoying as we don't smoke and it is supposed to be a no smoking hotel.

Une belle et grande chambre avec 2 grands lit + 1 lit d'appoint avec supplément. Petit salon d'entrée. Situation géographique idéale, pour partir en tuk tuk ou à pieds ou station de métro en face (pratique depuis l'aéroport). Attention:nous avions vidés nos poches de notre monnaie, elle a ensuite disparu...

Close to the train station and staff was so helpful and accommodating. They were waiting to assist us as soon as we arrived and were always readily available. Very eager and professional!

This hotel's main positive is its location if you want to visit the main tourist attractions around the Old Town. You have to add at least 10 years wear and tear to the hotel provided pictures you see here. Air condition was noisy, but oddly, it provided a constant white noise type of sound that's didn't bother our nights' sleep.

事前に私が勘違いしていたことが悪いのですが、ランドリーサービスはクリーニングサービスであり、自分でコインランドリーを利用できる訳ではないこと、ホテル内に飲み物の自動販売機がないこと。ホテル近くにコンビニやスーパーもないので、計画的に外出先で買い物をしてくる必要があること。四つ星ホテルなので、それを理解して泊まるべきホテルでした。私の希望とは違っていたので、自業自得とはいえ残念でした。

The location is good, near of the main touristic places but the service was bad and the smell of the room was terrible all days like a sewer. In the specification said that the hotel had early check in and when we arrived told us that I have to pay 500baht more.

Convenient location, but not a good experience

The location is convenient, close to MRT. Door was opened unexpectedly at 9 am, it was cleaner checking if the room was ready to be cleaned, which made the experience not good!

The location was very convenient, right outside an MRT stop and only 15 minutes walk from the main attractions. The bed was somewhat hard and the walls paper-thin, meaning traffic from outside and conversations inside could be heard.

Would definitely recommend. Hard to beat the location, only about 15 minutes walking from major attractions. The room was large, clean, and the AC was strong (which isn't something you can say in many Southeast Asia hotels). And the customer service of the employees was phenomenal. The front desk was always willing to help out (whether it was making copies of our passport, providing helpful directions, or even changing our bigger bills into smaller ones). And the restaurant was both delicious and convenient. I'd highly recommend.

The building is very old. The room is not what shows in the picture. It is a very noisy and small bathroom. Breakfast does not have many choices. One good thing is near MRT station.

Miramar Hotel

Quando sono a Bangkok, il Miramar per me é l'hotel perfetto, in posizione ideale, vicino alla Chinatown ed all'Indiantown nonché abbastanza vicino dai monumenti della città "vecchia" . La portineria é estremamente efficiente e gentile nell'assicurare ciò che si chiede. Ho provato a prenotare un hotel nella zona nuova della città ma ho disdetto dopo due giorni e sono tornato al Miramar.

Dirty hotel

The photography was generous on this one. They must have staged one decent looking room, because the room we had was just dirty! The tile was dirty, the bathroom was dirty. Had it been cleaned, yes. But there was just a layer of filth on everything in this hotel. We stayed one night of a 3 night stay, and got another (cleaner) hotel. We were told there were no refunds by the hotel. Don’t stay here if you can avoid it
