"The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people.
Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities.
If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - it’s not the place for you.
It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience.

The rooms are built into the side of the hill, with wooden doors and windows openingnupmon the view - so tjink more like a challet (or lodge!) than fancynjotel room. "Stunning views, especially of the waterfall. Spacious and clean room. Our balcony was extra large! They served a very delicious breakfast for a good price. We actually enjoyed it more than when we ate in town. The internet was a problem though, it did not work or was so slow it was unusable, but thankfully we had a hot spot to take video calls for work. Would definitely recommend as long as you don’t need internet. "
"Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! De accommodatie was netjes, schoon en groot genoeg voor een gezin. Ook de locatie was ideaal – rustig gelegen, maar toch dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en restaurants.
Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en stond altijd klaar voor vragen of tips. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd.
Kortom: een plek waar we ons direct thuis voelden en zeker nog eens zouden terugkomen. Van harte aanbevolen!"
"Wunderschöne Unterkunft, ideal für eine Gruppe von 6 Leuten. Das Staff war super lieb und die Kommunikation im Vorfeld via WhatsApp hat sehr gut funktioniert.

Die Unterkunft ist nicht direkt in Ella. Wir sind mit unseren TukTuks ca 40 Minuten nach Ella gefahren. Sofern man keine eigenes Fahrzeug hat, sollte man beachten, dass PickMe frühzeitig zu bestellen. "
"Ella is a dream and this property was so nice! The whole ambiance is beautiful and calming. They even have a garden on the premises. Our room has a magnificent view great for watching the sunrise. I opted to watch from outside near the garden. It was so magical to watch the Sun rise while listening to the birds serenade in the background and faint Buddhist chants growing gradually louder as the Sun came up! I highly recommend this property for your stay in Ella and wish we could have stayed...
