"An honest review. Rooms are clean, but smell musty until you adjust the thermostat to 74 and low fan speed. Too much AC and humidity mix causes the smell. The resort staff are friendly and try their best to help you enjoy your stay, but language is definitely a barrier. I will not hold that against them because I can't speak Spanish either. "We choose Serenade hotel because of the beautiful and shallow beach. Great ocean without waves. But this is only good part about the stay the rest was terrible. Stuff at the buffet very bad. They gave us a table , while we were grabbing a food, nobody cleaned the table. No water or silverware.
