"The castle is absolutely gorgeous. I stayed in one of the rooms in the outbuilding in the grounds, surrounded by peacocks, and it was lovely to walk across the lawn in the rain in the early morning for breakfast in the castle restaurant. The drawing room is incredible, with a great bar and genuinely spectacular places to sit in medieval window seats and beautiful couches. The staff are all wonderful. The rooms in the outbuilding are grand, but a lot of the fixtures are getting a bit run down....

Sängen bekväm om väl liten för två fullvuxna, så behöver ni yta att sova på boka rum med två sängar. Finns badplats med bryggor (även en tillgänglig nedgång för rullstol) som nyttjas av lokalbefolkningen och därmed är parkeringen ofta full dagtid på fina dagar. "Many areas of the hotel are very tired, including the rooms we had. Certain parts of the hotel were not well maintained and not as clean as you would expect from this hotel category. Many staff were in experienced and not helpful, others were very helpful, no consistency. Food was good. You need a car, difficult to get taxis and Ubers"
