"The room we were given was a smokers room. It smelled of cigarettes and we had to switch. Also even though they asked if we need kitchen equipped and we said yes. It was not, we picked this hotel mainly for this reason as we needed cook for our baby. Hotel had a great view of Porto but windows are so dusty you couldn’t see anything. Which is shame. Also we had free parking with our booking but we were asked to pay for parking again. So be aware and do mot pay if you have free parking. Show the...

"Upon arrival, we were initially disappointed with the location, lack of kitchen supplies and little things like no coffee and end tables, tiny bedroom closet so no place to put both our clothes, suitcases, etc…. But we soon figured out the metro, appreciated the grocery store next door, and really enjoyed the heated rooftop pool that was still open. All in all, everything worked out fine and think it was good value."

"Great stay here at Alfagar Village. The property was vast - many pools, restaurants and activities for kids/adults. The beach is a bit of a walk away but very convenient to have on the property. The rooms have been updated and were clean. Staff was always accomadating - thanks for Theo and Goncales for all their help with everything! Location was great for travelling to other locations as well and there was ample parking available."

"Such a lovely place to stay! The decor was beautiful. It was cozy, clean and had a stocked kitchen for light meals. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast basket at your door at 8am was such a treat. The only downfall was that we only booked one night lol. We will happily be booking another stay here in the future. Thank you so much!"

"Originally planned to stay in Porto but ended up in Espinho which we loved. Right on the beach, easy driving and parking and the train to Porto was about 100 m from our hotel. Great beach bars, biking and walking paths along the ocean. Groceries, restaurants close by. We loved it and will likely stay here again."

"Just liked the feel of the whole place, its convenience etc was all brilliant"

"I had a great stay here! The accommodation was lovely, and the location was perfect. It’s conveniently located close to the Old Town, and if you want to explore the New Town, it’s around a 15-minute walk or just a 5-minute taxi ride away. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was even given a complimentary upgrade at check-in, which was such a lovely surprise! As a solo female traveller, feeling safe and comfortable is really important to me, and this accommodation exceeded...

"2 mins walk from the marina. Pool is great for a cool down. One bit of advice the multigym machine in the gym needs a bit of maintenance and some fittings are missing check in with Francisco was excellent and he gave excellent recommendations for restaurant's. definitely will be back."
