"It was our first time and we were very satisfied with everything. Staff were courteous and friendly and very hospitable. Food and drinks are overflowing. Amenities are complete for me, there is always something for everyone. The only complain I had was since we were there during spring break, there were a lot of college students and so therefore some of them leave some drinks or plates on some random spots but apart from that they are just minding their own business like everyone else. "

"Stayed 4 night, and only got room cleaning on the first night, and have to request multiple times for the rest of the stay and in total got 1 room cleaning for the rest 3 nights. Breakfast apparently serves left over food from last night dinner, and some lunch is from the same day breakfast, ... Restaruant Sunan is not good with the Mexican twisted Asian food. Other than this, still a good option. "

"Great hotel, we loved it! Just wish that they would fill our shampoo, conditioner and body wash more often as we would realize in the shower that it was out. This happened twice and that was annoying as you are mid shower, need to get out and call the front desk, and then wait until they came to tip them up. "

"Our stay at Occidental Costa Cancun was disappointing overall. Check-in service was slow and lacked urgency. We arrived early (11:00 AM) and did not expect our room to be ready, but reception did not seem interested in providing a welcoming experience. We eventually got our room at 3:15 PM. The property is very small and does not feel like a true resort. There is only one small pool and a limited beach next to a canal where ferries and boats constantly pass, creating a noticeable smell of gas...

Basically it’s a bunch of drunk obnoxious parents and their l teenage underage kids drunk rude disrespectful thieves parents and kids both acting like they’re better than everyone else. No one is friendly or wants to be friends or have a good time. It’s primarily all 14–20 yr old kids drunk. Do not bring ur daughter here or allow her to go. The food is horrible and tastes like garbage. Better be up at 7 am to put ur towel on ur chair...

"Enjoyed our stay. The Activities Staff was amazing (shout out to Leo, Leslie, Paola, Natalia, Davina, and Jorge) and we enjoyed the beach, pool, and evening entertainment. Check in was fine, it it would have been helpful to know that we would have a building concierge who would give us all the specific details (Building 18- Michelle Ramirez was fantastic!). "Amazing everything "

"I traveled solo for the first time and honestly loved everything about my stay. My oceanfront room was beautiful, and I was greeted with a nice bottle of champagne and a well-stocked minibar, which was a great touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room service ended up being one of the highlights of my stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!"
