"Great resort. The vegetation and wildlife was phenomenal. The food was only okay, Los Lirios was the best a la carte. The "app" on the website was very convenient. The decor was so colorful and beautiful. We saw coaties, monkeys, snakes, iguanas, geckos and numerous birds. The street food night was the best event. "

"All of the dinning options include children. There are no adult dinning option other than room service. The staff at the al a cart options are not adequate they need more. The buffets are nicely staffed, but very crowded. The signs around the property are very vague. Be prepared to walk a lot."

"We were a group of three families who took four royal rooms for six nights. Food and beach view from the restaurant awesome. Some of the waiters at Royal were not friendly to us since we had small children and they kept on spilling water on the table. We didn’t feel welcomed always. Royal front desk was friendly but untrained. I got locked out of my room almost everyday . They were not able to fix our bracelets to work properly. Xcarat unlimited was awesome which is why we chose this place ....
