"Our experience with this Spa started on the first part of our 2 stop flight to Costa Rica with a WhatsApp message from one of the people working there letting us know that our card wasn't going threw - We had already paid threw Expedia and the charge was on our statement so I was VERY confused as to what was happening. We contacted Expedia who could not get them on the phone. The Spa wanted us to cancel threw Expedia and rebook directly with them with a card. At this point I let them know...

"It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"We loved our stay at Hotel Poco a Poco! The location is perfect—close to town but still peaceful—and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our room was clean and cozy, and the restaurant served excellent meals. The only downside was that the pool and jacuzzi were under renovation during our visit, but everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommended for a Monteverde stay!"
