This property is stunning. It's one of the only hotels in the area with direct access to a beach. Our time at Shana was extremely relaxing and enjoyable - everything from the pool, to the daily happy hour, the included breakfast, and helpful front desk was top notch. They even went above and beyond to help us book memorable excursions. Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Everything was great. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The resort was clean and the food at the onsite restaurant was loved by the whole family, especially the included breakfast buffet. The pool was perfect temperature and never too busy. We definitely recommend staying here and will be coming back!

This property is set on a very steep street. Walking from bottom (beach access) to top will leave you drenched in sweat given the heat and humidity. The beach has private access but it is a bit far and again very steep. Parking is horrendous due to steep incline and tight spaces. If you love parallel parking on a steep street, you will leave this. Rooms are nice enough and breakfast is excellent.

Beautiful property. Great access to a wonderful little beach. Be prepared to walk. 20 minutes down to the beach and 15-20 minutes up hill back to the hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Saw lots of monkeys and lizards at the property.

We had an amazing stay! Clean room, yummy restaurant, lovely beach accessible, cool pool, stunning views, crazy monkeys for entertainment, and market available with snacks and essentials. We arrived to a gift of wine in our room, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. With the gated entrance, we felt very safe, but the whole area seemed safe and walkable (if you can do those steep inclines!). We’d love to stay again!

Our room was really comfortable. It was so clean, too. We chose a garden view so we could see wildlife, and we were not disappointed. Every morning we had capuchin and howler monkeys. I saw and heard macaws as they flew by, and the path to the beach was just a few steps from our room.

Room was clean although not as nice as expected for the price but completely understandable as the value was in the view. Staff was amazing, everyone genuinely seemed to appreciate that we were there and were always attentive and responsive. The hotel location was excellent with restaurants, shops and the marina close by and of course the country was amazing.
