"Hotel was better than expected "

"Hotel Arte Natura is the kind of ‘hotel’ I love. It’s unique, quaint, quiet, and very walkable to local shops and restaurants. It’s about a mile west of the main downtown area with many restaurants only steps away, including one on site. The double room I booked was the perfect size for one person, but would have been a bit small for two platonic guests. It’s not because the room was small (which it is), but because of the size of the bed. You’d want to be sharing it with someone you plan to...

"Great choice for car drivers as gated parking lot. Very comfortable room with ac, fridge, good wifi and two beds and breakfast. Very helpful Mauricio advice and booking local park entrances. Would have missed somethings without his input. Included visit to thermal pools. A bit noisy from intermittent road traffic at night, but also able to walk everywhere as downtown La Fortuna. Inexpensive."

"The staff at Hotel Colores were exceptional. This is a family owned operation and you can tell they care about the people staying there. From the check-in to the breakfast and even helping us find the sloth family that were visiting the property during our stay. I have to say this place is a hidden gem. Our room was on the smaller side. The beds were not like the ones at home. But I would stay here again in a heartbeat because the owners and staff care about your stay. And that for me is...

"AMAZINGLY customer service oriented. Bereníce, staff, SO attentive, kind & thorough. Prior to arrival, resort administrator engaged to make personalized arrangements. Wifi steady & stable. Jacuzzi a plus. For arrival, standard vehicle OK (albeit slow w potholes with some portions being unpaved roads), but 4x4 might be helpful. Highly recommend to get away from it all to chill. I travel a lot, and I would go back. "

"My stay at Villas Vilma was great. The place is clean, comfortable, and in a really convenient spot for getting around La Fortuna. Adriana and Daniela at the front desk were both incredibly welcoming and helpful, which made everything even better. Be sure to stop by the soda "diner" across the street—the food is delicious and it’s a nice way to enjoy the local neighborhood vibe. Overall, a solid and friendly place to stay while exploring the area."
