"Lovely quiet area to stay. We speak very little Spanish, they were so willing and patient with communication. The porch area was lovely. We enjoyed rocking and having an evening drink. There is a small store about a mile away. We went to bed early and were so surprised that 4 other couples were there for breakfast. Breakfast was a “typical” and very good. "

Arrived too late for pizza the first night, but stayed to have it for lunch and it truly was delicious. However, learned later that Costa Rica’s ban on feeding wildlife extends to private property and bird feeders, so it would better not to feed the birds at all, or at least farther from the deck so...

"Our stay was fine to good. Perhaps perfectly acceptable for a three-star resort. The line for check in and check out was long and slow. There were mostly locals there, if that's the vibe you're looking for. The entrance to the resort is a long and bumpy ten minute drive, so lesving the resort was kind of annoying.
