From the check-in to the breakfast and even helping us find the sloth family that were visiting the property during our stay. I have to say this place is a hidden gem. Our room was on the smaller side. The beds were not like the ones at home. But I would stay here again in a heartbeat because the owners and staff care about your stay. And that for me is...

"I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. It was super clean....

"We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. We found the supermarket with ease. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit with a large breakfast of beans...

It was our 10 year anniversary, not only did they do an amazing job decorating our room they even upgraded our villa. Ricardo especially stood out everyday he helped us weather it was food recommendations and tours. Very clean and comfortable and just a beautiful location with wild life everywhere. We were able to see monkeys right outside our balcony. 100% recommended "

"Room was spotless and comfortable. Beautiful spot. Host was great! Only thing I could suggest is the proper amount of towels for the amount of guests booked. We only had two towels for three guests. But this doesn’t affect how we feel about the place! Great stay!"

Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the location of the restaurant, beside the river that runs behind the property. Staff were very friendly and professional.
