"The grounds were beautiful, the food was the major turn off. They had a huge variety in the buffets and 5 restaurants but not only the flavor and quality was low as the lines to get in the Asian were incredibly long and we were not able to make a reservation to the steak house. I would not stay there again because of the food and how crowded the hotel felt at times. The restaurants and the pools were always packed."

"Staff were amazing. We had an issue with an excursion and they helped us with it. The resort was clean. The resort is on the smaller side. Pool was big enough but there was not enough loungers for the people there. Also, the food was just average, nothing spectacular. It was a good trip."

"Overall our stay at Los Lagos was very good. We had a few problems with a doorknob and couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV (it is difficult to understand) but the property was beautiful and the hot spring pool was very nice! Overall, a really nice experience with the breakfast being excellent. We would return! La Fortuna is close by and there are restaurants nearby if you want to drive out of the hotel area ! great location!"

"The main pool was lively and perfect for a dip or for the kids to play. The hot springs were phenomenal. We went several times a day and it was never too crowded but there was always someone to chat with. Staff was super friendly and generally helpful. We weren’t crazy about the breakfast buffet - but it’s hard to maintain freshness in climates like this and really it’s a matter of taste. "The location of the property was excellent. The room was very nice with friendly staff. The only minor thing that we did not like was the TV. It was a mini baby toy Tv with low picture quality. I know you don’t watch Tv during vacation but I was hoping to enjoy the World Cup games while we were getting ready for dinner."

"The JW Marriott was the perfect weekend getaway. The staff were friendly, and very attentive to your needs. I opted out of the All inclusive package, but guests confirmed that several on site restaurants were up to standard and near worth it.
