The hotel is extremely clean and well-maintained with secure parking. The meal we had at the restaurant Azotea was phenomenal. It's a beautifully restored older building, & staff are very friendly & helpful. Looks very modern & stylish now. Would have no problem staying there again, but they did have a few maintenance issues they need to address. First our room door lock did not work well. It took multiple attempts for the electronic key card to unlock it to get into the room every time. Secondly the water pressure was quite low. Thirdly the mattress was a bit hard, so a bit uncomfortable.

We had a great stay here! Hotel is within walkable distance to a lot of other restaurants/shops. The ambience was great and they have excellent breakfast (free!) options. The room has basic amenities. The only issue was the AC stopped working on day 2, but otherwise, everything else was good. Their roof top restaurant also has good menu options.

Very cool designed hotel. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very tasty and a good selection of hot and cold food. The restaurant was also very good with a lovely rooftop terrace for food/drinks. Safe location to walk around outside, and with secure on site parking. Our room was clean, comfortable but no frills - worked well for a two night stay but not as stylish as the hotel itself. We would recommend staying here for a short stay in San Jose.
