"There was no parking near this B&B. We parked in a parking garage near the waterfront at the entrance to the island of Ortega for 15 euro/day. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the B&B and is worth the walk d/t it’s central location. We also did not have breakfast on site but were given coupons for a nearby cafe. This happened to us a couple of times this trip & we are wondering if it is because November is slower season & it is easier for the host to give out coupons in lieu of preparing...

"Domus Mariae Albergó is a gem overlooking the sea in Ortigia. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the sea and the sounds and salt breeze were delightful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was at sister inn across the street Staff were very helpful. Location was close to sea wall but not far - a few minutes walk- from restaurants and shopping. "

"Fiori and her husband were amazing hosts and took excellent care of us when an unexpected repair meant we couldn't have the room we booked. They went out of their way to accommodate us, truly first class service! The place itself is lovely, breakfasts were delicious and the location is perfect - easy to explore all of Ortigia or to walk to the train station. Can't recommend staying here enough!!! Don't look any further, just book it!"

"This hotel is somewhat under construction so the living room is not set up well but the staff is excellent, the breakfast options were good (with real cappuchino - not from a machine!) and there is an elevator so we didn't have to lug suitcases up a stairway. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping came in every day. Front desk and breakfast staff were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, markets and a barbershop!"

"Location is incredible. View from my beautiful room was great , walkable to everything in a wonderful little island , staff/owners nicest people and an elevator as a amazing extra ( not available in a lot of historic buildings) historical building is so cool to stay in as well"

"Charmerende lejlighed og fantastisk beliggenhed lige i hjertet af Ortigia, den gamle bydel af Syracuse. Værten Paula kan nås enhver tid og svarer omgående på eventuelle spørgsmål. Hun lægger hver morgen en æstetisk tilrettelagt kurv fyldt med lækkerier foran døren til gæsternes opholdstværelse. Mængden af morgenmad er næsten få meget, man føler sig rigtigt forkælet. "Quiet place , clean, new bathroom. Only thing is that there is only a small window in the room, but if you are only going to sleep there it s not a problem. Close to many restaurants. Just around the corner there is a wonderfull breakfast place. "

"La ubicación es cerca de la vía Athenea, al final de la misma (8 cuadras de su inicio) y luego escaleras. Se puede estacionar en la calle del hotel, pero requiere suerte en encontrar lugar y mucha destreza para no rayar el auto. En general al cuarto le falta limpieza, la ducha bien. Aire acondicionado bien. Desayuno flojo. Con relación al precio no está mal. "
