"URBN Boutique Shanghai hotel was as lovely as the photos in our Expedia booking website. Our room had lots of reclaimed wood on the floors and walls, spectacular tiles on the floor, many noticeable details that made it look modern but also comfortable. The shower floor and walls look like gray slate and it was really big with an overhead rainfall shower as well as a hand held shower head. "If you are attending any tradeshow at the tradeshow Centre across from the Himalayas, this hotel is ideal. Not only are the staff friendly and welcoming, the service is good, the food is good and the rooms are nice and clean. If you don’t speak Mandarin the staff are accommodating and friendly and will find a member of the staff to communicate with you in a friendly manner. I was never frustrated or left without anything. "First room assigned was on 3rd floor. Very heavy smell of smoke as soon as I stepped from the elevator (lift). I was upgraded to 15th floor. Room was okay, but only twin beds available. Both these items lead me to rate overall stay as average."
