I stayed on the 30th floor facing the river and the view as spectacular facing the river bend. It is a beautiful property and well maintained with great service. Staff is polite and attentive. I also received the club level services where i receive complementary breakfast, afternoon snake and lite fare for dinner. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable 6 -day stay.

This hotel has one of the best locations in Shanghai, and in my opinion, before COVID was one of the best hotels in the world. Today, it is a shadow of what it was. The lobby is dark and lifeless, internet does not work 80% of the time, the staff barely speaks English. It used to be a melting pot of nationalities, today is mostly Chinese. Coming to this hotel was one of the things I was most looking forward to do when on business in Shanghai. I am afraid I will be looking for a new location next time I am in town
